Scratching the Surface is an exhibition of work by four contemporary British painters, Stewart Geddes, Clyde Hopkins, Francesca Simon and Gary Wragg. Each of these four artists has a long-term commitment to this form of inquiry, and Scratching the Surface presents some of the fundamental concerns of contemporary abstraction.
