To quote one of last year’s judges, Tony Godfrey – “Drawing can be so many things and just as many different things can decide a drawing’s success: clarity, exploration, exposition, a mood, a thought, a memory… What does one say at the end? No one big truth, but many. Drawing remains a seed bed. We learn many things by looking at drawings, just as we do by making them. We hope that looking at this exhibition is as enjoyable as the selecting of it was”.
